If you are just starting with Doba dropshipping, it is understandable that you will face problems importing products from Doba to your Shopify store.
Often, people new to the Doba Shopify integration, even when figuring out how to import products to Shopify, tend to miss out on specific essential steps, resulting in incomplete Shopify product import. For example, sometimes more than one variant will show on the store, or you might not have formatted the description correctly.
However, do not worry because our dropshipping import guide will discuss two easy methods for importing Shopify products.
First, ensure that you log into both Shopify and Doba accounts. Then, begin with adding products to your inventory list.
Navigate the website to find products you want to list on your store. We have made this decision easier for you by segmenting all the Doba dropshipping winning products into categories like top-ranking products, new arrivals, and TikTok shop selections.
You can import products to Shopifyindividually or in bulk; that's up to you. Still, choose the product(s) and select "list to store" from the options listed in the header.
Once you click “list to store,” choose your Shopify store and continue.
As soon as you continue, you will be redirected to another page where your Shopify product import details, such as product name, description, variant, and images, will be shown.
Although with our Doba Shopify integration, we ensure that most of the product details are filled out for you automatically, regardless, we advise you to review these details to make sure that no detail is lacking. However, if the details are lacking, fill them out manually.
In your product information, you will notice an option for "collections." Supposedly, you want your Shopify product import to be visible under a collection; in that case, sync the collection from your store and choose it.
Check out the All the product's necessary details will be under the description, but again, if needed, edit the description to make the information more readable for your buyers.
For the variant option, you must uncheck any variant of your Shopify product import that you do not want to list on your store. Nevertheless, if you want to list variants, fill in the original price (seller's price) and compare the price (the cost you want to set). Simultaneously, decide if you want the shipping cost included in the finalized product price.
Out of the multiple pictures shown, you can uncheck any picture you do not want to be visible on your store's website. Remember, you cannot uncheck the original picture, and when only a single picture is displayed, you can't uncheck it either.
After thoroughly analyzing and examining your product's details, click "list the product" to complete your Shopify products import.
Congratulations, you have completed your listing. To double-check, you can go to your Shopify account to see if the products are visible in the store.
Similar to how you will add your products to the inventory list to import products to Shopify directly, you must do the same for manual listing.
The process is the same for manually conducting Shopify product import, irrespective of whether you choose individual products or bulk. However, you select a single product, go to actions, and click the download option.
You will see a prompt with a few options on your screen now.
Select the file type "product feed file”
Choose the shipping country
Pick out Shopify for the format
Then, proceed to download.
The downloaded file will be available in a zip package. Upon opening it, you will see that the zip package contains pictures of the product in JPG and a CSV file.
To upload the file:
Log in to your Shopify account
Go to the product page
Click on import to add the CSV file to your store
If you need help importing products with a CSV file on Shopify, consult the Shopify Help Center.
After uploading the file, review the product information and make the necessary edits to the description.
Now, if you go to the product page, you will see no inventory information. Therefore, go back to Doba's inventory list and download a file of the same product; however, this time, you can do so by clicking the option labeled "inventory & price file."
When the final is downloaded, open it and copy and paste the inventory number to the product list. To finalize your Shopify product import, review the product information and save it so your product is listed in the store.
